An exclusive venue for shooting parties, weddings and corporate events, this ancestral family home featured in the Domesday book of 1086 and oozes with history and heritage spanning 900 years.

Inside

• Style: Beautifully designed exclusive country house accommodation adorned with fine paintings, antiques, tapestries and a rare family military uniform collection.
• Bedrooms: Six doubles with en-suites, and six twin rooms (five with en-suites and one with a private bathroom). All bedroom are beautifully appointed, some with four-poster beds and views over the parkland.
• For relaxation: Indulge in a cream tea in the orangery, with views to the parterre and the parkland.

Outside

Set in Capability Brown parkland with distant views of Dartmoor, you will find many old trees such as Spansih chestnut, Turkey oak and Holm oak, a box parterre planted over 200 years ago, various hideaways and an orangery.

About Your Hosts

The present owners are leading international interior designers and over the last ten years have carefully restored and redecorated their home. They are both keen gardeners, conservationists and supporters of many rural interests, having access to fishing and excellent shooting. They also enjoy golf, antiques and history.
